The log of claims was developed after an eighteen-month process driven by a working party sub-committee consisting of members representative of all categories of the Principal Class that comprise the membership of the PFWA. The sub-committee prepared a draft log of claims which was adapted following input from networks, collegiate groups and regional meetings, and then submitted to the PFWA Council and Executive for ratification. The final document, attached here, was signed off by Council, for submission to the DoE this week.
The bargaining process will commence soon, and the bargaining team will be striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for the Principal Class, with the emphasis on attraction and retention, well-being and support for school leaders in their role of leading learning.
The current Agreement expires on 5 December 2023, so we will be striving to arrive at a new Agreement as soon after that date as is practicable.
